Amira was founded by Master Perfumer Elias Al-Khouri in London, born from a deep desire to bridge the opulent traditions of Arabian perfumery with the refined elegance of European craftsmanship. It began as a small, exclusive atelier in the heart of Mayfair, dedicated solely to crafting authentic, highly concentrated Oud-based elixirs. This was a bold rebellion against the rise of mass-produced scents, focusing instead on limited, artisan batches that captured the essence of rare ingredients. Each fragrance was hand-blended with meticulous care, reflecting Elias’s vision of scent as an art form that evokes emotion and heritage.

We travel yearly to source our core ingredients: the wild-harvested Oud from sustainable farms in Assam, the sun-drenched Damascena Rose from Bulgaria, and the rich, complex Grey Amber from the Indian Ocean coast.
